Reigan Richardson and No. 7-seed Duke will take the court against Jacy Sheldon and No. 2-seed Ohio State today.
The No. 7 seed in the Regional 3 in Portland, Oregon, Duke, will take on the No. 2 seed in the same region, Ohio State in the second round of the Women’s NCAA Tournament. The Buckeyes finished their season 25-5 overall but lost to Maryland in the quarterfinal of the Big Ten Tournament. Finishing the season rank No. 4 in the nation, they earned one of the No. 2 seeds in this tournament. They took on No. 15-seeded Maine, who won the America East Playoffs, 80-57 in the first round. Jacy Sheldon led the team in that win with 19 points on 7-of-14 shooting with four rebounds and four assists. Four of the five starters finished in double figures and eight players came off the bench and played time.

The Blue Devils lost in the quarterfinals of the ACC Tournament and ended the season not ranked inside the top 25 but still earned a top-10 seed in the NCAA Tournament. They took on No. 10-seeded Richmond in the first round on Friday and took them down easily by double digits, 72-61.
Reigan Richardson led the team in scoring dropping 25 points in the win on 10-of-18 shooting with seven rebounds. Ashlon Jackson and Kennedy Brown both ended in double figures as well with a combined 24 points. Four players came off the bench with Oluchi Okananwa leading that group.
