The Chicago Cubs conine their six-game home stand on Friday when they host the Los Angeles Dodgers. The Cubs come into Friday on a four-game winning streak and fresh off a three-game sweep of the Colorado Rockies. The Cubs outscored the Rockies 17-2 in the first two games and looked on their way to another blowout on Wednesday as they led 8-3 in the eighth. They would blow the lead as they gave up five runs in the inning. They bounced right back and scored a run in the bottom of the inning to get the 9-8 win. The Cubs will now turn to veteran Kyle Hendricks in the series opener against the Dodgers. Hendricks struggled in his first start of the season as he gave up five runs in just three and two-thirds innings against the Texas Rangers.
