How to Watch Marquette at Maryland: College Basketball Live Stream, TV Channel

Marquette hits the road on Friday night to take on Maryland in a huge non-conference battle

The Marquette Golden Eagles play their first road game of the season on Friday night when they visit the Maryland Terrapins. The Golden Eagles will be playing their first of two straight games against a Big Ten opponent as they will host No. 13 Purdue on Tuesday. The Golden Eagles come into Friday a perfect 3-0 on the season, but they had to hold off Central Michigan in their last game. They led the Chippewas by 15 at halftime, but they let them hang around and they closed to within six in the second half. They were able to get the victory, though, and are looking to win a fourth straight on Friday night. Kam Jones continues to be the leader for the Golden Eagles as he is averaging 22.7 points per game and is one of three players averaging double figures. David Joplin and Chase Ross are both scoring 15.3 points per game in the early part of the season.

The Terrapins also come into Friday on a three-game winning streak to start the season. They have had little trouble in getting by Manhattan, Mount St. Mary’s and Florida A&M in their first three games.

The competition ramps up in a big way on Friday, though, as the Terrapins will get their first big test of the season.

They have won each of their first three games by at least 30, but it has been against mid-major opponents. The Golden Eagles present a much bigger test for them.

The Terrapins have had a balanced attack to start the year as four guys are averaging double figures. Rodney Rice leads the way at 16.7 points per game, while Derik Queen and Ja’Kobi Gillespie are both scoring 13.7 points per game. Julian Reese is the last guy scoring in double figures at 13.0 a game.

    Regional restrictions may apply.
