The 2nd-place Renegades look to sweep the Spring 2024 season series from the Renegades when they meet Tuesday night in Miami
The Renegades (54 points) can get a step closer to a playoff berth in the World Jai Alai League when they take to the Battle Court on Tuesday night against the Cyclones (35 points) at the Magic City Jai Alai Court in Miami. The Renegades enter the game in second place but still have 31.5 possible points remaining. They trail the Warriors by eight points, but that club has just 16 possible points available to it. The Cyclones, meanwhile, are 18 points out of the third and final playoff spot with 31.5 possible points remaining, trailing the Chargers, who have 24 possible points available.

The Renegades come off a 5.5-2.5 victory over the Warriors on April 5 while the Cyclones took a 5-3 decision from the Devils on April 8. The Renegades can clinch a season sweep of the Cyclones on Tuesday after a 7-1 victory on Feb. 12 and a 5.5-3 win on March 8. Tuesday’s game is worth 7.5 points with three doubles matches (1.5 points each) and three singles battles (one point apiece.)
The lineup for Tuesday includes (Cyclones listed first) Lopez (Imanol Lopez) against Aratz (Aratz Mendizabal), followed by Bueno (Christopher Bueno) and Manu (Emmanuel Laduche) facing Goenaga (Ion Goenaga) and Arta (Alain Uristondo) in the first doubles match. Ikeda (Jean Melendo-Ikeda) and Lopez take on Goixerri (Ekaitz Mendizabal) and Ben (Benlee Gadsden) next.
Carballo (Michael Carballo) and Goenaga square off in singles play in March 4, to be followed by Ikeda and Arta. The finale features Carballo and Manu against Goixerri and Aratz.
