Gonzaga will travel to San Francisco, California, this weekend for a men’s college basketball battle in the West Coast Conference. On Saturday night, it will face San Francisco at the Chase Center. The Gonzaga Bulldogs are 22-8 overall this season, heading into the last full week of the regular season. They finished the first two months of the season in their non-conference schedule with a 9-4 record before going 13-4 against teams in the West Coast Conference. They are the No. 2 team, sitting three games behind the top, No. 23 Saint Mary’s.

After a loss to Saint Mary’s, the only team they lost to in February, they bounced back with a month-ending game against Santa Clara on the road. They won that game by 19 points, 95-76. Graham Ike led the way with 24 points on 11-of-14 shooting and seven rebounds. Michael Ajayi led the team in rebounding with eight rebounds and six points off the bench.
The San Francisco Dons are 23-7 overall this season, just one game better than their opponent. In the conference, however, they are 13-4, which is tied with their opponent. They are also three games back from the conference leader as well as two games ahead of the 11-6 Santa Clara, the team behind them.
They lost to Gonzaga in the middle of last month. After that loss, they went on to beat San diego, Pacific, and Oregon State to end the month. In the last win over Oregon State on the road by two points, Marcus Williams led the team with 21 points on 7-of-14 shooting. Malik Thomas leads San Francisco in scoring this season, averaging 19.3 points and 3.3 rebounds per game.
