Kennesaw State plays its first ever game as a FBS program on Friday night, when Jacksonville State visits Fifth Third Stadium.
There’s only two teams left that haven’t played a conference game in the CUSA – and they face off on Friday night as Week 5 of the college football season gets underway. In that matchup, Jacksonville State (1-3, 0-0 CUSA) visits Kennesaw State (0-4, 0-0 CUSA) at Fifth Third Stadium. Not only is this the first conference game of the year for Kennesaw State but it’s the program’s first-ever conference game at the FBS level, having moved up from FCS in the offseason. Kennesaw State is also still looking for its first win at the FBS level outright. The Owls so far have faced UTSA, Louisiana, and San Jose State for FBS opponents, and played FCS UT Martin last week.
