Missouri looks to stay unbeaten on the season when it hosts SEC rival Vanderbilt on Saturday afternoon
The Missouri Tigers open up conference play on Saturday afternoon when it takes on the Vanderbilt Commodores. The Tigers have looked good to start the year in wins over Murray State, Buffalo and No. 24 Boston College. They had little trouble in their first two games as they won by a combined 89-0 score, but the game against the Eagles was much tougher. They trailed 14-3 early in the second quarter, but would roll off the next 24 points to take a 27-14 lead. They would hold off the Eagles despite giving up a late touchdown to get the win. They now sit at 3-0 as they get ready for the SEC part of their schedule. They have been led by Brady Cook at quarterback as he has thrown for 720 yards and two touchdowns. Nate Noel has been great on the ground going for 242 yards and two touchdowns. Marcus Carroll has also rushed for over 100 yards to compliment Noel.

The Commodores are going to have a tough time slowing down the Tigers offense as they try and pick up the big win.
The Commodores have already picked up an upset this year as they knocked off Virginia Tech in overtime in Week 1, but they are also coming off an upset loss as they went to Georgia State last weekend and lost 36-32.
They almost made a great comeback as they erased a 12-point deficit by scoring 14 points in just a minute and 15 seconds, but they gave up a touchdown with 15 seconds left to lose for the first time this season.
They are hoping they can bonce back from that disappointment and pick up a huge top-ten road win.
