Chicago Blackhawks look for another win as they visit the Philadelphia Flyers at Wells Fargo Center on Saturday
The Chicago Blackhawks (7-12-1, 15 points) snapped a three-game losing stream with a win at home on Thursday and looks to gain some momentum when they take on the Philadelphia Flyers (8-10-2, 18 points), who have dropped two straight following three consecutive victories. Injuries are mounting for Philadelphia, which was already without defenseman Cam York before he was joined on injured reserve recently by goalie Samuel Ersson and blueliners Ryan Ellis and Jamie Drysdale. Defenseman Seth Jones is on IR for the Blackhawks with an injured right foot and is still expected out for about three weeks.

Chicago took down the defending Stanley Cup champion Florida Panthers on Thursday night 3-1, grabbing a 2-0 lead midway through the second period and holding on. Teuvo Terevainen opened the scoring with a first-period power-play goal before Craig Smith doubled the lead at 10-07 of the second. Pete Mrázek made 32 saves.
The Flyers surrendered three goals in the first 6:57 of the third period on Wednesday, turning a tie game into a 4-1 loss at home to the Carolina Hurricanes. Ryan Poehling netted his first goal of the year early in the second period for Philadelphia’s lone score and Ivan Fedotov made 33 saves as the Flyers were outshot 37-19.
Ryan Donato’s eight goals leads the Blackhawks while Connor Bedard has three goals and 15 points. Mrázek is 6-8-0 in 14 starts with a .911 save percentage and 2.66 goals-against average. Travis Konecny is powering the Philly offense with 11 goals and 23 points and in seven starts, Fedotov is 3-4-0 with an .875 save percentage and 3.69 GAA.
