Texas Southern goes for it second straight win on Saturday afternoon when it visits Arkansas-Pine Bluff
The Texas Southern Tigers visit the Arkansas-Pine Bluff Golden Lions on Saturday afternoon in the regular season finale for both teams. The Tigers come into Saturday fresh off a 17-14 win over Bethune-Cookman last Saturday and now sit at 4-6 overall and 3-4 in the SWAC-West. The Tigers had lost two in a row and three of four, but they erased a seven-point halftime deficit to the Wildcats to get the close win. The defense played well after they had given up a combined 94 points in their previous two games. The Tigers have relied heavily on the rushing attack this year and have been led by Quintell Quinn who has 497 yards and four touchdowns. Athean Renfro is the second leading rusher with 268 yards and three touchdowns.

The Golden Lions will look to slow down the duo as they try and snap a three-game losing streak and get their fourth win of the season.
They have not had a good season and are just looking to get a win in their regular season finale.
The defense has not been great for the Golden Lions this season as they have given up at least 31 points in each of their eight losses. In their last three losses they have given up 41 to Jackson State, 52 to Alabama A&M and 31 to Southern.
Despite the tough season quarterback Mekhi Hagens has played well as he has thrown for 2,447 yards and 16 touchdowns. He has thrown just five interceptions on the season.
His top target has been JaVonnie Gibson as they have connected 66 times for 1,160 yards and eight touchdowns.
