The final day of high-speed motorsports action will cruise into Las Vegas, Nevada for the Nevada Nationals on Sunday.
The final day of the Nevada Nationals will take place on Sunday at The Strip at The Las Vegas Motor Speedway. The event kicked off on Thursday and has included several days of music, food and top thrill drag racing. The final day of competition will see Nitro (Top Fuel & Funny Car), Pro Stock (Car & Motorcycle), Summit JDRL National Shootout, Sportsman (TD, Comp, TS, TAFC, & TAD) and Factory X. The highly anticipated finals could determine NHRA world championships in Top Fuel, Funny Car, Pro Stock and Pro Stock Motorcycle. The literal race for the top spot in the standings will take place on Sunday as the top four racers in Top Fuel sit just 88 points apart from fourth to first.

Justin Ashley is currently leading the pack in the Top Fuel category with 2422, but Antron Brown is right on his tail, trailing by just 44 points. Shawn Langdon is sitting 32 points behind Brown and Steve Torrence is just 12 points back from there.
In the Funny Car category, Austin Prock leads with 2537 points and John Force is in second place with 2390 points. Rounding out the top three is Matt Hagan with 2369 points. The Pro Stock category is led by Dallas Glenn with 2517 points and Aaron Stanfield holds the second spot with 2464 points and Greg Anderson trails first place by 90 points with 2427.
