Damonte Ranch will head to Sparks, Nevada on Wednesday night to take on Reed High School in high school basketball.
They are 3-2 in their last five games, all against league teams. They beat McQueen by 20 points at home before losing to Douglas by one point on the road. They went back home and beat Galena by two points, before getting dominated by Spanish Springs by 22 points. Their last game ended in a 10-point loss to Bishop Manogue on Monday.
The Reed Raiders have fallen all the way to 6-12 this season, and they are 2-8 against teams from the 4A Northern League, ranking No. 8 in the league. They are 3-4 at home and 1-4 on the road with six neutral games this season. They beat Sparks on the road by 41 points before losing their next six games.
They went on the road to Damonte Ranch in December and lost by 27 points. They are 2-3 in their last five games, beating Galena by 18 points and Truckee by four points, before losing three straight heading into this week. They lost to Spanish Springs by 42 points, Bishop Manogue by 20 points, and Douglas by 16 points.
