Blues center Jordan Kyrou leads the team with 18 points this season and comes into the weekend with a point in nine of his last 10 games. Kyrou, a second-round selection by St. Louis in the 2016 NHL Draft, has tallied 65 or more points in each of the last three seasons and has collected double-digit power play assists during that run.
The Islanders tandem of centers Kyle Palmieri and Bo Horvat have combined for 30 points through their first 20 games despite their offense ranking 28th in the league. Both players have been held without a point in their last two games and as Horvat has gone, so have the Islanders. Horvat has just two points in New York’s 13 losses and 12 points in the Islanders seven wins.
St. Louis has won three of the last four meetings in this series with each of the last two wins over New York coming via a shutout.
