Czechia looks to bounce back from a loss when it takes on Denmark on Wednesday in the IIHF World Championships.
Czechia gets back on the ice on Wednesday when it plays Denmark in Group A action of the IIHF World Championships. The Czechs had Tuesday off after falling to Switzerland in a shootout on Monday. The loss was the first of the tournament for them after they slipped by Finland and Norway in the first two games. They shut out the Finnish team to win 1-0 in the extra frame and then got their offense going in the second game as they beat Norway 6-3. Monday their offense was held in check again as they scored just a single goal. Matej Stransky scored that goal in the second period, but that was all they could manage. The Swiss team would then knock them off by netting two goals in the shootout.
