The Utah Class 5A Tournament in high school football is down to the final four. The second semifinal of the day showcases two teams ranked in the top 11 in ninth-ranked Brighton (11-1) taking on 11th-ranked Bountiful (10-5). The Bengals enter this game on a seven-game winning streak and as the third seed in this year’s tournament. After a first-round bye the Bengals dominated 19th-seeded Wasatch (26-0) before a very competitive quarterfinals win over sixth-seeded Olympus (17-14). For the RedHawks, they are the second seed this year and advanced to the semifinals with wins over 18th-seeded Alta (42-14) and seventh-seeded Maple Mountain (42-35).

The Thunderbirds are the top seed in this year’s tournament while the Royals are the fourth seed filling the semifinals with the four best teams this season.
