The Servite Friars look to bounce back against the second ranked team in the country St. John Bosco in high school football.
Servite (6-1) is coming off its first loss of the season against the top-ranked team in not only California but the country. They are rewarded with the second-ranked team in not only California, but in the country in St. Johns Bosco (7-0) today. Over a seven-day window, the Friars are facing the top two teams in the country. The Friars head into this game as the sixth-ranked team in California and the 31st in the country overall. Picking up the upset today and earning a split against the top two teams in the country will be a challenge. Since 2015 they have gone 1-9 against the Braves including being routed 56-27 in their only game last season.

BIn the Friars loss to top-ranked Monarchs they were unable to move the ball scoring just six points, all in the final quarter, after digging a 28-0 hole through three quarters. Before the loss the Friars had allowed just 55 points in their six dominant wins to start the season.
Through the first six games the Friars were consistent and dominant averaging 31.1 points per game and allowed just 9.1 points per game to opponents. They have two shutouts and another game allowing just seven points, clamping down on the defensive end as one of the best teams in the country.
For the Braves this season, they are averaging 39.3 points per game while allowing 17.6 points per game to opponents. Cracking the Friars defense will be an important key for the Braves to remain undefeated just a week away from their clash with the top-ranked Monarchs.
