Manchester High School will head on the road in this week of high school football to take on Mt. Zion High School in Georgia on Friday night. The Blue Devils are 5-1 this season overall and 2-0 against teams in the A D2 Region 7. They are also the No. 67 ranked team in Georgia. They opened the season up with four non-region games losing to Harris County at home 16-8 in the first game following it up with a 6-0 win over Upson-Lee at home in the next week. At the beginning of October, they went on the road beating Macon County 42-6 and Chapel Hill 38-0 in back-to-back games with a bye week in between. They opened up region play with a 34-7 win over Trion before beating Bowdon 28-20 on the road last week. This team has dominated the ground attack with junior running back Darrius Favors who has 869 yards and 10 touchdowns this season. He is averaging 10.0 yards per carry through 87 carries.

They opened up the season with two straight wins against Chattahoochee County 34-0 and Ranburne on the road 43-36. They lost their first game against BCA 14-13.
They followed up that loss with another one on the road against Chattooga 45-20. they won their third game on the road at Baconton Charter 34-0 before losing at home against Pike Country 28-18. Their last three games ended in a 44-0 loss at Trion, a 37-35 loss at Greenville, and a 49-0 loss at home against Bowdon.
