In their season opening win the Blue Raiders survived a 23-21 win over Weatherford, who remain winless. Since that win the Blue Raiders have struggled to stop any team giving up 50-plus points in two games and 38 points in another.
During this current four-game losing streak the Blue Raiders are averaging 28.0 points per game. That would be a strong number if not for the fact that they have given up at least 27 points in all four losses for an average of 41.5 points per game to opponents.
For the Texans, they have been dynamic, winning all four games by at least 17 points. In those wins they are putting up 31.25 points per game and are allowing just 13.0 points per game to opponents. They have the opportunity this season to not only make it back to the playoffs, but to also make a deeper run with this hot start.
