In those two wins the Huskies won 45-35 and 62-38, locking the Cougars down on the defensive end both games. That defense has carried over this season, allowing less than 50 points in four of five games.
On the defensive end this season the Huskies are allowing just 46.6 points per game to opponents. They have played in competitive games throughout the season with three wins by single digits and one game that required overtime to remain undefeated through five games.
For the Cougars this season they started the season with a 20-point win. Since then they have two wins by four points, one in overtime and one in the team’s last game. It’s only loss came to an out-of-state challenger. A win here against the Huskies would be the biggest win in years for the Cougars.
