Qualifying for the Monaco Grand Prix takes place after three practice sessions today.
After three practice sessions for all the teams and individual drivers, qualifying for the 2022 Monaco Grand Prix takes place this morning. The top four drivers in the circuit dominated the practice sessions, which could be a precursor for today’s qualifying session and the race itself later this weekend. Max Verstappen is the defending champion at Monaco, one of the biggest races on the Formula 1 circuit.

The first two practice sessions were dominated by the Ferrari team of Charles Leclerc and Carlos Sainz. Both sessions were won by Leclerc, with Sainz finishing third and then second.
Verstappen and Perez were in the top four in both sessions for the Red Bull Racing team.
Lando Norris of McLaren Mercedes finished in fifth place in the first two practice sessions.
This season has seen either Leclerc (two) or Verstappen (four) win all of the races so far on the Formula 1 calendar and Verstappen is the defending champion at this race. The best bet for qualifying and the race will come from the four top performers from the first two practices.
The race will take place on Sunday, May 29, at 9 a.m. ET on ESPN.
