The Houston Roughnecks and St. Louis Battlehawks square off in an inter-divisional UFL matchup on Saturday.
Heading into the second half of the 2024 UFL season, there’s a close race at the top of the XFL Division. Heading into Week 6, the San Antonio Brahmas and St. Louis Battlehawks (4-1) are tied at the top in terms of wins, with St. Louis currently owning the tiebreaker. For St. Louis, the run to the top has come with four wins in a row after a loss in the season opener. On Saturday head coach Anthony Becht’s team will go for its fifth win in a row when the Battlehawks welcome the Houston Roughnecks (1-4) from the USFL Division to The Dome at America’s Center for a Saturday afternoon matchup.

The driving force behind St. Louis’ winning streak has been offense. Through five games the Battlehawks are averaging 223.4 yards and 30.2 points per game, both of which lead the league. Wide receiver Hakeem Butler is the league’s leading receiver, with 344 yards on 25 catches with three touchdowns.
On the other side is a Houston team that won its first game of the season two weeks ago, 17-9 over the Arlington Renegades. Last week, the Roughnecks fell 32-9 to the still-undefeated Birmingham Stallions.
