Since 2013 the Georgia Elite Classic has taken over December with All-Star Games to close out the season in high school football. This year is no different with the best of the best on the gridiron all looking to make plays and history in the Senior All-Star Game. This week the action started with Flag Football All-Star Games featuring the underclassman and then the seniors. Tackle football owns the day here with the 7th Grade, 8th Grade and Senior All-Star Games. At the end of the season Georgia finished with three teams in the MaxPreps National Rankings top 10 and four teams overall in the Top 25 highlighting a deeply talented pool of football players.

Only California (six teams) and Florida (five teams) have more teams in the Top 25 this season. All of the talent in Georgia will be divided up between two teams – Team Blue and Team Gold.
Team Blue will be led by quarterbacks Chantz Bouknight (East Paulding), Hudson DeLine (Pope) and Forest Ross (Jefferson). This season Ross led his team all the way to the Class 3A Championship Game, but fell short of finishing the season as arguably the best quarterback in the state.
For Team Gold, Ryan Dean (Mount Pisgah), JD Trail (Woodland) and Jake Bobo (Prince Avenue) will take the snaps. Bobo also made it all the way to the Class Private A-3A Championship Game where he fell short in a shootout. All of these signal callers will attempt to lead their All-Star team to a win here in the Georgia Elite Classic.
