The second race in Nürburgring for the Coppa Shell AM takes the track with the best drivers in the sport today.
The Ferrari Challenge Racing Series rolls into the final day of action in Nürburgring with the second race in Coppa Shell AM. There is a full slate of races today with the other classifications also taking the track including the second race in Trofeo Pirelli directly after this race. In the first Coppa Shell AM race, Zois Skrimpias started on the pole and carried that all the way to a win. Andreas Konig was right on his bumper, finishing just one second behind Skrimpias to take second place. Those two and the rest of the field will look to take control of the second race and come away with a win in Coppa Shell AM today.

Qualifying for this race saw Jan Sandmann have the top speed in his eighth lap to take the pole heading into race two. Skrimpias finished third in qualifying while Konig will start in the seventh slot, which is a better starting position than he had in the first race.
The starting grid for this race starts with Sandmann on the pole followed by Eric Cheung, Skrimpias, Josef Schumacher and Roland Hertner rounding out the top five positions. The other 10 drivers in this 15-driver field will all look to learn from the first race on this track, practice and qualifying to come out on top as underdogs.
Cheung, Sandmann and Schumaker finished in third, fourth and fifth in the first round from lesser starting positions. Now they are in a position to challenge for the win here in race two.
