The CW will bring back Walker on Wednesday night with an all new season.
Walker, Texas Ranger was wildly popular when it premiered in 1993, and the CW brought it back to life with a re-imagined series that premiered in 2021. Walker follows the adventures of Cordell Walker (Jared Padalecki), a widower and father of two with his own moral code, as he returns home to Austin, Texas after being undercover for two years, only to discover there’s harder work to be done at home. Walker needs to reconnect with his son and daughter, but doesn’t know where to begin as personalities with the children, and the rest of his family clash. His ADA brother who stepped in during Walker’s absence, his perceptive mother and his traditional rancher father bring a family dynamic that many can relate to these days. Walker finds unexpected common ground with his new partner while growing increasingly suspicious about the circumstances surrounding his wife’s death.

In the season four premiere titled “The Quiet,” Geri pulls out all of the stops for Walker’s birthday. Her plans, however, are thwarted. Amidst the birthday celebrations, Walker, Captain James and Trey work on a case together. Cassie also surprises everyone as she returns unexpectedly. In addition, Walker faces a new challenge in the world of parenting as his mother Abby asks for Liam’s help to bring his teenage daughter, Stella, out of her shell.
