Episode 15 of the fifth season of The Wall premieres on Monday night. This is the first episode of the show in 2024. The last episode aired Dec. 1, 2023. In this summer season premiere, Tom, a college baseball coach from Winston-Salem, N.C., made a life-saving kidney donation to one of his players and now teams up with his daughter, Kasey, to put their luck and knowledge to test on the wall, hoping to win big.

Everyday people battle a variety of trivia questions and a 40-foot wall for a chance to win millions of dollars. Each pair of deserving contestants, from siblings to spouses to best friends, has a plan to use the life-changing winnings for good things. But defeating the wall is no easy feat.

Players work together to answer questions with the goal of collecting cash prizes. Over $12 million is on the line each night and up to $3 million on a single electrifying drop. When a question is answered correctly, a green ball falls down the four-story wall and more cash is added to the slot players’ winning total, called the bank. If a question is answered incorrectly, a red ball drops and the value is deducted from the team’s bank.

Because Contestants compete in pairs, they must trust their loved ones to make the right decisions to rack up more earnings. In the end, teams are offered a contract that can dramatically impact their payout.
