Rob Lowe is back as the host with contestants from all over looking to prove they can answer more questions about various trivia categories and control the floor. Last season the show featured 81 contestants that dueled each week for the opportunity to win a $250,000 prize. This season The Floor is bigger and better with 100 contestants all starting with their trivia expertise and the hopes of making it to the end for the cash prize. Season one saw the highs and lows of controlling the floor each week with Jacquelyn coming out as the inaugural winner. She managed to win the season after dueling once in week two, then sitting quiet in the corner while the rest of the contestants knocked each other out, leaving her with just the final duel against Arthur in “Fashion Icons” to conquer The Floor.
In that season there were topics ranging from “Fashion Brands” to “Veggies,” “Sports Equipment” to “Junk Drawer Items” and everything in-between. The categories are broad and niche, depending on the contestants expertise and confidence in carrying that topic to a $250,000 payday.
Be careful which topic you choose and who you pick to duel on The Floor, because that topic is used just once and is replaced with the topic from the contestant that is defeated in that duel. Who is going to come out on top this in season of The Floor?
