The winter premiere of Teen Mom: The Next Chapter will premiere on Thursday night at 8 p.m. ET on MTV.
Since 2009, MTV has followed the lives of young women as they embark on the journey of parenthood with its hit show 16 and Pregnant. With many spin-offs including Teen Mom and Teen Mom 2, the network has followed the lives of some of its most popular episodes as they have worked through relationships with both their childrens’ fathers, as well as their children as they grow up. Teen Mom: The Next Chapter is the newest adaptation of the show, which gives insight to some of the original teen moms as they now parent their own teenagers; the same teenagers whose births were shown way back in 2009. Amber Portwood, Janelle Evans, Leah Messer, Brianna DeJesus, Catelynn Baltierra and Maci Bookout are a few of the faces that the cameras follow during this chapter of their lives.

The season two fall finale saw some of the moms come together at Jade and Sean’s wedding, giving them a chance to enjoy themselves without their kids. The episode showed Jade’s worry as her mom’s court date approached since she hoped she would be able to walk her down the aisle.
In the winter premiere on Thursday, fan-favorite Maci Bookout and her ex-boyfriend, villain Ryan, will come together to buy their son Bentley a car for his 16th birthday. The two have clashed over the years, while Ryan has struggled through his addiction. Will they be able to work as a unit to make this dream for Bentley a reality? Or will their past be too much to overcome?
