Chad Michael Murray and Scott Patterson return to The CW on Wednesday night for the season 2 premiere of Sullivan’s Crossing.
On Wednesday night, The CW brings back Sullivan’s Crossing when season two premieres at 8 p.m. ET. Based on the New York Times bestselling novels by Robyn Carr, the show follows the journey of neurosurgeon Maggie Sullivan, played by Morgan Kohan. Maggie is forced to move away from Boston where she has been working for years after facing some legal troubles. She moves back home to Sullivan’s Crossing where she grew up in Nova Scotia to take time to reflect on her life and decide what’s next. Maggie must navigate life while living in her childhood home and constantly dealing with her estranged father, Sully (Scott Patterson), who runs the town.

While in Sullivan’s Crossing, Maggie is forced to deal with the complications that have arisen from her legal troubles while also trying to navigate the painful past that continuously plagues her. To make things even more difficult, Maggie’s best laid plans are upended when a mysterious newcomer Cal (Chad Michael Murray) piques her interest.
On the heels of the season finale in which Maggie finally seems to be getting back to her normal routine as she heads back to Boston, a secret was revealed which, once again, has her questioning everything.
In Wednesday night’s premiere, Maggie returns to Sullivan’s Crossing to find her father in the hospital struggling with the feeling that he’s forgotten something. Cal finds himself confused when Maggie gives him the cold shoulder completely unaware that Lola (Amalia Williamson) pocketed his goodbye letter.
