Kitchen Nightmares is back and it debuts with a two-hour episode on New Year’s Day at 8 p.m. ET on FOX.
FOX brings back Kitchen Nightmares on Wednesday night at 8 p.m. ET with a two-hour special. The show, which is a brainchild of Gordon Ramsey, is set to take place in New Orleans. The first half of the season is set in New Orleans, the home of Super Bowl LIX, which will be broadcast on FOX. It will air weekly leading up to the big game, with in-episode countdowns by Ramsay and appearances by current and former NFL stars. The season will also provide an opportunity for the New Orleans-based restaurants, who under Ramsay’s guidance, will have the chance to be reinvigorated and running prior to the biggest sports weekend of the year.

Kitchen Nightmares is produced by Studio Ramsay Global in association with Fox Alternative Entertainment. Ramsay serves as an executive producer along with Katy Dierks, who serves as executive producer and showrunner.
The city of New Orleans approved filming permits for the show to shoot at Verdict Lounge, located in New Orleans East at 9301 Lake Forest Blvd. The Black-owned restaurant serves Southern cuisine, and its current menu features gumbo, eggs rolls, seafood platters, bone-in wings and more.
Of course, it won’t be the first time a New Orleans spot appears on the makeover series where Ramsay examines restaurants, tackles their problems and offers guidance to avert closure.
Regional restrictions may apply.
