Fire Country returns on Friday night with the season three premiere at 9 p.m. ET on CBS.
On Friday night, season three of Fire Country will premiere in the 9 p.m. slot on CBS. The show is centered on Bode Donovan, a young convict seeking redemption, as he joins an unconventional prison release firefighting program in Northern California. He and other inmates are partnered with elite firefighters to extinguish massive, unpredictable wildfires. It’s a high-risk, high-reward assignment, and the heat is turned up when Bode is assigned to the program in his rural hometown, where he was once a golden all-American son until his troubles began. Five years ago, Bode burned down everything in his life, leaving town with a big secret. Now he’s back, with the rap sheet of a criminal and the audacity to believe in a chance for redemption despite a town that believes the worst about him.

Max Theriot returns as Bode Donovan and Stephanie Arcila will reprice her role as Gabriela Perez this season. While this season will continue to follow their storylines, it will also introduce some new characters to the show, as well. Gilmore Girls’ Jared Padalecki will be joining the cast as Camden, a Southern California firefighter who will be fulfilling a three-episode stint on the show. Padalecki and Theriot are friends off the screen, so their chemistry will draw viewers in as they seem to fit together flawlessly.
The season premiere on Friday, titled “What the Bride Said,” will see chaos erupt at Gabriela and Diego’s wedding when a helicopter crashes and ignites. The team immediately jumps into action to stop the fires and help the numerous victims.
