This year, the award show has added six new categories including Female Song, Male Song, Group/Duo Song, Cover Song, New Artist Song and Storyteller Song. The award ceremony will feature two icon awards with the Country Icon Award going to Miranda Lambert and the Country Champion Award going to Kane Brown.
While Beyonce leads the nominations with 12, Zach Bryan is right on her tail with 11 and Kacey Musgraves has 10 nominations. Bryan is likely to win a slew of awards as his tour across the U.S. was completely sold out this summer.
Joining the list of performers is country great Brad Paisley and an unlikely Machine Gun Kelly. Tune in Thursday night as some of country music’s biggest stars stand by with the hopes of having their names called for awards voted on by the most important voters; the fans.
