Tune in Wednesday night at 8 p.m. ET to the 2024 MTV Video Music Awards on MTV. Taylor Swift dominated the headlines this past year and unsurprisingly, she has the lead with a whopping 12 nominations to her name. By the end of the night, she could becoming the winningest woman in VMAs history, beating Beyoncé‘s record of 25 as a solo artist—or 29, including her work with Destiny’s Child and Jay-Z. Across her career so far, Swift has won 23. Post Malone, Ariana Grande, and Sabrina Carpenter are all in the elite “multiple-nom” category as well, as is Eminem, whose six nominations give him a shot at becoming the most-awarded male artist in VMAs history. He’s already won 13.
