Grant Enfinger has won each of the first two races in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series Round of 8 playoffs, which conclude on Friday night with the Zip Buy Now, Pay Later 200 at Martinsville Speedway in Virginia. The venerable track known as the “Half Mile of Mayhem” opened in 1947 and returns to the fall schedule this year for the first time since 2021. The asphalt and concrete track is 0.526 miles with 12-degree banking in the turns and flat straights. Friday’s race is scheduled for 200 laps, with Stages 1 and 2 set for 50 laps each before a final stage of 100 laps.

With Enfinger locked into the Championship 4 for next weeks series championship at Phoenix, Corey Heim leads the remaining contenders by 11 points over Christian Eckes and 27 points over Ty Majeski. There is a large gap between fourth and fifth, with Rajah Carruth 22 points behind Majeski, followed by Taylor Gray (24 points back), Tyler Ankrum (41 points behind) and Nick Sanchez (43 points back).
Eckes won the April race at Martinsville, leading 133 of the 200 laps and finishing 0.644 seconds ahead of Majeski. Eckes led the first 104 laps before reclaiming the lead from Majeski on lap 172 and keeping it the rest of the way.
Three drivers have two fall victories at Martinsville, with Denny Hamlin (2011-12), Bubba Wallace (2013-14) and Johnny Sauter (2016, 2018) turning the trick. Enfinger won the fall event on the Paperclip in 2020.
