LaMelo Ball and the Charlotte Hornets will take the court against Paul George and the Philadelphia 76ers on Sunday.
The Charlotte Hornets will head on the road at the end of the week in the NBA regular season to take on the Philadelphia 76ers at the Wells Fargo Center in South Philadelphia on Sunday night. The Hornets come into this road game with a 4-5 record overall. They are currently the No. 4 team in the Eastern Conference, tied with the Indiana Pacers and Brooklyn Nets, while just a half-game back from the New York Knicks. They have played five games in November and have won just two of them. They started the month losing two straight games to the Boston Celtics at home before losing on the road to the Minnesota Timberwolves. They have won their last two games, beating the Detroit Pistons, 108-107, and the Indiana Pacers, 103-83. LaMelo Ball leads the team in scoring this season averaging 28.4 points, 5.0 rebounds, and 6.0 assists per game.
The Sixers have won just one game heading into this weekend with a 1-7 record through eight games. They have lost four straight games since the turn of the month heading into November. They lost at home to the Memphis Grizzlies before getting beat on their West Coast road trip by the Phoenix Suns, LA Clippers, and LA Lakers.
Tyrese Maxey leads the team in scoring but has since been injured. He is averaging 27.6 points per game with 3.0 rebounds and 3.9 assists per game. Paul George debuted and has played three games for Philadelphia averaging 14.0 points, 5.3 rebounds, and 4.7 assists per game. Jared McCain should see increased usage in Maxey’s absence.
