The Arizona Diamondbacks travel to face off against the Milwaukee Brewers in Phoenix going for their third win in a row.
Technically the season has already started for the Chicago Cubs and Los Angeles Dodgers but Opening Day is right around the corner for the rest of us. Opening Day for the rest of the clubs is less than a week away on Thursday, March 27. The Arizona Diamondbacks and Milwaukee Brewers will play the last game of the day this Friday night with less than a week left here in Arizona. The Diamondbacks will go for their third win in a row tonight when they travel to the spring training home of the Brewers at American Family Fields of Phoenix. Milwaukee and Arizona have already played once this spring in Scottsdale, AZ where the Diamondbacks dominated 7-1 back at the end of February.

Milwaukee is coming off a rare day off on Thursday and also coming off a 5-4 win over the Chicago White Sox on Wednesday. The Brewers have improved to 14-11 this spring and 8-4 at home. The Brewers were down 4-0 but rallied all the way back against the White Sox capping off the game with a three-run homer by first baseman Tyler Black in the eighth inning.
The Diamondbacks are coming off a huge 11-3 win against the Athletics at home on Thursday afternoon. Arizona dominated from the get-go building a 11-1 advantage at its peak. The D’backs were up 6-0 after the first two innings alone and scored four runs in two innings. Zac Gallen received the news that he will get the Opening Day start honors over Corbin Burnes. Both of these aces are deserving and this is a good problem to have for Arizona who looks to have a bounce back season and get back to the playoffs in 2025.
