On Friday night, the Knight Riders visit the unbeaten Barbados Royals (3-0, 6 points) at the historic Kensington Oval in Bridgetown, Barbados. The Royals are playing the front end of a back-to-back on Friday as they will host the defending champion Guyana Amazon Warriors on Saturday. Trinbago comes in off a victory its last time out.

Barbados comes off a rain-shortened win on Wednesday over the visiting Antigua & Barbuda Falcons. The Royals won by 10 runs using the DLS method, a mathematical formula designed to calculate the number of runs needed to win for the team batting second in an interrupted match. Quinton de Kock posted a 160.0 strike rate with 48 runs on 30 balls while Keshav Maharaj bowled a sterling 4.75 economy rate in four overs with one wicket.
The Knight Riders edged the host Saint Lucia Kings by four wickets on Tuesday night, 189-6 to 187-6. Kieron Pollard slugged seven 6s on his way to a 273.68 strike rate (52 runs on 19 balls). Sunil Narine hit two wickets with a 3.25 economy rate in his four overs for Trinbago.
The Royals missed the knockout state last season after a runner-up finish in 2022 while the Knight Riders bounced back from a last-place finish in 2022 to reach the final a year ago.
