In the main event, the vacant CFC Middleweight Championship is on the line between contenders Yann Oliveria (6-0) and Chris Foster (12-5). Those two guarantee a new champion in the middleweight division with Oliveria also looking to maintain his undefeated record. In addition to that championship bout are matches to determine the interim CFC Bantamweight Champion and fill three other vacant titles in the CFC Lightweight Championship, CFC Featherweight Championship and CFC Bantamweight Championship. Heading into this bout Lozoya is the sixth-ranked bantamweight fighter in the northeastern United States while Picciano is ranked 13th. Lozoya has won back-to-back bouts heading into this championship opportunity, both this year building momentum as one of the best in the world in his weight class.
In the other three title bouts on the card Jarrod St. Jean (4-2) takes on Jojo Gonzalez (4-0) for the CFC Lightweight Championship and Fred Allen Sfeir (0-0) faces Mike Jolicioeur (0-0) for the CFC Featherweight Championship.
