UCLA and Texas kick off the Softball College World Series on Thursday in Oklahoma City
UCLA and Texas meet up in the first round of the College World Series on Thursday looking to start their tournament off with a win.

The two teams are joined by Oklahoma and Northwestern in their side of the bracket and will play them in either the winner’s or loser’s bracket in their next game.
UCLA came into the tournament as the No. 5 seed, but have been one of the most dominant teams during its run.
The Bruins gave up just three runs in sweeping through their regional and then swept No. 12 Duke in the super regionals.
They have been playing great softball and will now look to take down a Texas team that is coming off two straight weekends of upsets.
The Longhorns went to No. 13 Washington and knocked off the favored Huskies twice en route the regional win.
They then climbed out of a 1-0 hole against No. 4 Arkansas to win the super regional on the road to making it to Oklahoma City.
They will look to keep their run going with a first round win against a streaking UCLA team.
