A Top 25 matchup will take place Thursday night as No. 15 UCLA hosts No. 21 Oregon in Pac-12 play in college softball.
On Thursday night, a Pac-12 series between No. 21 Oregon and No. 15 UCLA will begin at Easton Stadium in Los Angeles. The Ducks come into the series with an overall record of 20-10 and a conference record of 7-2 so far. The team is on a five-game win streak with the most recent being a 12-4 road win over Cal State Fullerton on Tuesday. Vallery Wong led the Oregon offense with a 3-for-5 performance at the plate which delivered three RBIs for her team. Hanna Delgado also finished with three RBIs after going 2-for-5 at the plate. Taylour Spencer took the win in the circle to move to 6-2 on the season with three innings of work in which she gave up four hits and no runs.

The Bruins are currently in fourth place in the Pac-12 standings with an overall record of 18-8 and a conference record of 4-2 so far. On Sunday, the team picked up a 6-0 win over Washington to avoid the series sweep on the road. Maya Brady went 2-for-3 at the plate to earn three RBIs and lead the team’s offense with two home runs. Jordan Woolery also hit a solo home run in the second inning on one of her two hits of the day. Kaitlyn Terry pitched a complete game for UCLA to move to a perfect 9-0 on the season after striking out two batters and giving up just two hits.
When UCLA and Oregon met during conference play last season, UCLA won two of three games after Oregon won the first game of the series 3-0.
