Arkansas and Georgia will conclude their SEC series on Monday night in Athens.
On Monday night, a Top 25 matchup will take place as No. 18 Arkansas takes on No. 3 Georgia in the final game of the teams’ three-game SEC series at Turner Softball Stadium. The Razorbacks come into Monday’s finale with an overall record of 25-9 and a conference record of 4-4 so far, which puts them in seventh place in the SEC standings. The team opened this series with a 3-2 win, but fell to the Bulldogs in an 8-2 loss yesterday. Reagan Johnson, Raigan Kramer and Bri Ellis were the only three Razorbacks to connect with the ball in the loss and the two runs were credited to Johnson and Kramer in the second inning. Hannah Camenzind was credited with the loss after pitching five innings and giving up six earned runs.

The Bulldogs have got off to a strong start in conference play this season and are currently in third place in the SEC standings with an overall record of 29-5 and a conference record of 6-2. The team had been on a five-game win streak prior to this series, but the Razorbacks broke that with a win in game one on Saturday. The Bulldogs bounced back with an impressive performance yesterday, led by Madison Kerpics in the circle, who pitched four innings and struck out two batters. Offensively, Jaydyn Goodwin turned in four RBIs on her two doubles, while Jayda Kearney went 4-for-4 with one RBI.
