Tennessee and Georgia hit the field on Saturday afternoon in the middle game of a three-game set. The Volunteers will be looking to protect their home turf as they try and win their fourth straight SEC series. The Volunteers have started off hot in SEC play as they swept Missouri and South Carolina in their first two series and then took two of three from Auburn last weekend. They nearly swept the Tigers, but fell 4-1 in the finale. That was their first loss in the SEC this season and they came into the weekend at the top of the conference standings, a game up on rival Florida.

The Bulldogs, though, are looking to get an upset on Saturday and deal the Volunteers a rare loss this season.
The Bulldogs have also played well to begin SEC play as they took two of three from No. 14 Alabama and also swept Ole Miss.
Last weekend was their first setback as they lost two of three to No. 20 Arkansas at home. This weekend they are looking to bounce back, but it isn’t going to be easy against a Volunteers team that has looked like one of the best in the country.
