After taking down Towson to advance to the quarterfinals, Syracuse earned the fourth seed in the NCAA Tournament with a 12-5 overall record this season. The Orange are 2-1 in neutral site games this season, with their lone loss coming in the ACC Tournament to Duke earlier this month. Denver, on the other hand, lost in the Big East semifinals but still earned the No. 5 seed with a 12-3 overall record. Syracuse has won all four previous matchups against Denver, with the two teams last playing in the 2013 national semifinal.
