The Michigan Wolverines take on the Arizona State Sun Devils on Saturday evening in college hockey action. The Wolverines came to Arizona State on Friday and took down the Sun Devils 4-1 and are looking to finish off the sweep on Saturday. The Wolverines were fueled by Garrett Schifsky as he recorded a hat trick. Schifksy opened the scoring at 18:17 of the first period and then scored a short-handed goal 45 seconds into the second period. Michael Hage made it a three-goal lead with a goal at 3:20 of the second period. The Sun Devils would score to cut the lead to two at 14:29 of the third period when Ty Jackson found the back of the net. Schifsky would get his third goal four minutes later when he scored short-handed yet again. It was a huge night for Schifsky and the Wolverines and they will look to repeat it on Saturday.

The win on Friday night was the second in a row for the Wolverines after they lost their season-opener Minnesota State They got their revenge on the Mavericks in the finale of their two-game series when they won 4-1.
The Sun Devils also split their first series as they beat Air Force 8-1 last Friday and then lost the finale 4-3 in overtime to the Falcons.
The Sun Devils will look to make it two straight series split with and upset win over the Wolverines on Saturday night.
