Out in the Rockies on Friday night, Lindenwood takes on Air Force in the first of two games between the two schools.
In non-conference college hockey action on Friday night, Air Force (1-3-0, 0-0-0 AHA) is back at home taking on Lindenwood (1-1-0). The Falcons are already four games into their regular season. They opened up at home two weeks ago hosting No. 20 Arizona State, and split the two games. After a 1-8 loss on Friday night in the season opener, the Falcons came back with a 4-3 overtime win on Saturday. Then it was off to Las Vegas last week for the Ice Breaker Tournament. The Falcons went 0-2 against two ranked opponents, falling to No. 5 Minnesota and No. 14 UMass.

Through four games, senior forward Clayton Cosentino leads the Falcons with five points (three goals, two assists). He’s also the Falcons’ top faceoff option and has won 58% of the time at the dot to this point.
Lindenwood has also had a tough test to start the season. The Lions opened things up on the road last weekend, in Madison for two games against No. 9 Wisconsin. In the first game the Lions pulled off the upset winning 4-2, behind two goals from Sophomore forward Jaeden Mercier. They nearly pulled off the sweep on Saturday as well, but ended up falling 3-2.
Sophomore Owen Bartoszkiewicz has started both games in net for Lindenwood so far this year. He has a 2.41 goals against average and a 93.8% save percentage.
