Coming into this matchup, Colorado College is looking to stay unbeaten and ranked in the top 10 nationally. After a few weeks off the Tigers returned to the ice last weekend, taking a trip up north and sweeping Alaska Anchorage in a weekend series. It was a dominant effort from the Colorado College defense, with wins of 2-1 and 2-0 in the two games. The shutout was the first of the year for junior goalie Kaidan Mbereko, who has started all four games for the Tigers this year.
Air Force was on the road last week as well, on the road in Springfield, Ma. against American International for a pair of AHA games. Both games went to overtime – the Falcons won the first game 2-1 then dropped the second 4-2.
