Michigan State hosts the third annual Folds of Honor collegiate golf tournament heading into round two on Tuesday.
The third annual collegiate golf tournament sponsored by the Folds of Honor will enter the second round on Tuesday. The Folds of Honor is an organization that “provides life-changing scholarships to the spouses and children of America’s fallen or disabled military and first responders.” The tournament is held at the American Dunes Golf Club in Grand Haven, Michigan, in partnership with Michigan State University and Florida State University.
Notre Dame shot a team score of 282 to win the tournament last year, jumping over Michigan State. Twenty-two collegiate golf teams are participating in this year’s tournament from Navy to North Carolina, including nine ranked teams. The first round of the tournament kicked off Monday with Arizona leading the way on the women’s side with a one-over-par in the first round. Texas’s Lauren Kim led the players with a five-under-par on the day. Alabama came away with the lead in the men’s side.

Alabama’s Jones Free, Notre Dame’s Christopher Bagnall, and Grand Valley State’s Andrew Gwilliams will tee off first at 7:48 a.m. ET for the men’s bracket, followed by Alabama’s Jack Mitchell, Notre Dame’s Rocco Salvitti, and Grand Valley State’s Bryce Wheeler. The round will conclude with Florida State’s Jack Bigham, Illinois’s Max Herendeen, and Air Force’s Cameron Kahle.
BaiMai Seema from Baylor, Nordah Seidl from Tulsa, and Alaythia Hinds from Buffalo will tee off first at 12:27 p.m. ET on the women’s side. They will be followed by teammates Sera Hasegawa, Jennifer Roller, and Emily Mayne in respective order teeing off at 12:36 p.m. ET.
