Top Four
Georgia Bulldogs
The Bulldogs flexed their muscles once again last weekend as they routed Tennessee. They gave up a touchdown on the Volunteers’ first drive but then shut them down. It was their third straight ranked win, but now they must take care of a pesky Georgia Tech team. They have already clinched a spot in the SEC Championship game against Alabama but first want to stay unbeaten and get a win over the Yellow Jackets.
Michigan Wolverines
The Wolverines almost got caught looking ahead last weekend but hung on to beat Maryland 31-24. They didn’t look great but they got the win and now all eyes are on their game with the Buckeyes in the Big House. The Wolverines must win this game if they want to make the playoff.
Washington Huskies
The Huskies survived Oregon State last weekend and now get a date with rival Washington State. The Cougars have been struggling but are still good enough to beat the Huskies. Washington will clinch a spot in the Pac-12 championship game with a win but chaos could erupt with a loss. The Huskies are still are in a great spot to make the playoff but they will likely have to beat Oregon in the conference championship game.
Florida State Seminoles
The Seminoles were dealt a big blow last Saturday as they lost quarterback Jordan Travis for the rest of the year. They still go the win but are going to be tested by Florida and Louisville in the next two weeks. They fell behind Washington in the latest playoff rankings and are hanging by a thread but if they keep winning they should get in.

In the Mix
Ohio State Buckeyes
They are on the outside looking in for our projections but they have the easiest route. Win against Michigan and then Iowa and they will be in. If they lose they might not be as lucky as they were last year when they snuck in with a loss.
Oregon Ducks
The Ducks have been playing as well as anyone in the country right now but must get by a good Oregon State team to stay alive. Win that and they will likely play Washington in the Pac-12 championship game. If they can win that rematch they should be in.
Texas Longhorns
The Longhorns hold the biggest key of all and that is a win over Alabama earlier this year. They need to win out and then hope one of the undefeated teams loses to get in. They should get in over Alabama if the Crimson Tide beats Georgia but it is no guarantee.
Alabama Crimson Tide
The Crimson Tide have also been playing great football but they still need to beat Auburn and upset Georgia in the SEC championship game. They could use Texas losing again as they could be left out even with a win over the Bulldogs. If all the other undefeated teams win out then they could be on the outside looking in.
