3. No. 11 Alabama at Texas A&M
The first game on this list is also the only game on the list that isn’t a matchup of top-25 teams. No. 11 Alabama has fallen outside of the top 10 national rankings for the first time in over a decade and the free fall might continue this week. The Crimson Tide started as the No. 4 team before losing to Texas and falling to No. 10. They just barely beat South Florida and fell to No. 13 before beating Ole Miss and rising back up to No. 11.
The Aggies, meanwhile, were the preseason No. 23 team in the league before losing their only game this season against Miami and dropping outside of the top 25. This team has not won by fewer than 17 points at home this year and with Alabama on the road, the momentum could be in Texas A&M’s favor.
2. No. 23 LSU at No. 21 Missouri
This is one of three games this weekend that will feature two top-25 teams. No. 23 LSU is 3-2 on the season with its only two losses coming against No. 5 Florida State and No. 16 Ole Miss. Despite the loss last week to the Rebels, LSU will be looking to bounce back and get a big and much-needed win. Jayden Daniels to Malik Nabers have connected on 625 yards and five touchdowns in 2023.
Missouri is undefeated at 5-0 this season. This team started unranked and has climbed into the top 25 with its series of wins. Its biggest win of the year came against then-No. 15 Kansas State, 30-27. Brady Cook has 1,468 yards and 11 touchdowns with a 78.2 QBR this season No. 23 in the nation.

1. No. 12 Oklahoma at No. 3 Texas
The Big Noon Game of the Week is a Big 12 Conference rivalry featuring the top two teams in the conference taking place in another Red River Rivalry match. The No. 12 team in the nation, Oklahoma, is undefeated and has worked its way up the rankings after starting out as the preseason No. 20 team. This will be the Sooners’ biggest season test thus far with a 20-6 road win over Cincinnati being their best win yet.
The No. 3 team led by an NFL prospect at quarterback, Texas, is also undefeated. This team started at No. 11 and catapulted up the rankings after beating No. 3, at the time, Alabama, and last week taking down No. 24 Kansas. Quinn Ewers has thrown for 1,358 yards while Jonathan Brooks has run for 597 yards. This is the most complete team in the nation.
