Since then they have won six straight matches heading into the Senior Day match against Maine (9-6). With just three games left in the regular season the Huskies are in a position to finish the season on a nine game winning streak, making a play to get into the college field hockey NCAA Tournament. For the Black Bears, they head into this match coming off a loss and look to bounce back against a quality opponent. They have traded wins and losses since late September struggling to build any momentum after a 4-1 start to the season.

When the offense is playing well they give themselves the opportunity to win, but when they cannot score multiple times the team is winless. The Huskies defense has been the catalyst to their winning streak setting the stage for a great match in college field hockey.
