Indiana State welcomes Minnesota to town on Sunday afternoon for a second-round game in the Men’s NIT. The Sycamores, who many thought were snubbed for the NCAA Tournament, won a shootout with SMU in the first round 101-92. They had to battle, though, as they trailed by nine points at halftime. The Sycamores used a 15-1 run in the second half to take the lead that they would never relinquish. Jayson Kent led the way with a game-high 33 points to lead the Sycamores to the win. It was their seventh win in the last eight games and 16th in the last 19 games.

The Golden Gophers are looking to slow down the Sycamores and get a big road upset on Sunday afternoon.
They come into the second round after already picking up a road win in the state of Indiana. They slipped by Butler in the first round 73-72. Dawson Garcia was once again great for the Golden Gophers as he scored 25 points in the win.
It was a tight game throughout and they had to come back from a five-point deficit with five minutes left to get past the Bulldogs.
