In the College Station regional, things get started on Friday when Texas takes on Louisiana. The Longhorns struggled in the Big 12 Tournament, losing to Texas Tech and Cincinnati without any victories in the double-elimination tournament. Those losses ended a four-game win streak for the Longhorns, who went 35-22 during the regular season. The team is 0-5 at a neutral site this year, though with this game being in College Station, it’s hard to predict what the crowd will look like for the Horns.

The Ragin Cajuns went 40-18 on the season, but lost both games they played in the Sun Belt Tournament. The team opened play with a 7-3 loss to Old Dominion then lost 10-9 to James Madison to end the disappointing conference tournament run.
